15+ Years Inside the Lab. Now I Build the Systems.

I didn’t start as a consultant. I started as the person running the lab.
For 15+ years, I’ve worked inside QC laboratories in regulated manufacturing environments — running samples, managing calibration programs, writing SOPs, training analysts, handling OOS investigations, and defending quality systems during audits.

Not advising from the outside. Inside. On the bench. At 2 AM before a registrar visit.

Standards I’ve Built Systems For
ISO 9001  ·  ISO 17025  ·  FSSC 22000  ·  HACCP  ·  OSHA

What That Means in Practice
I’ve written SOPs that survived registrar audits. I’ve managed out-of-spec investigations that held up production lines. I’ve built calibration programs from scratch and defended them in front of auditors. I’ve trained analysts on methods and documented their competency. I’ve maintained document control systems across multi-shift operations. I’ve sat in the audit room and answered the questions.

Why I Built FPO

I built First Principle Operations because I kept seeing the same problem at every facility I worked in:

The QC lab was expected to maintain enterprise-level quality documentation with a team that barely had time to run samples. The choices were: hire a $90K+ quality manager the company couldn’t afford, pay a $200/hour consultant who’d never run a lab, or hope the lab supervisor figured it out on nights and weekends.

None of those options work. So I built a better one.
FPO builds audit-ready quality systems for in-plant QC labs — fast, at a price point that makes sense, and built by someone who’s actually done the work.

How I Work

Remote-first. Structured. Practical.

Every engagement starts with understanding how your lab actually operates — not how a textbook says it should. Documentation is built to match your real workflow, not to check a box. Deliverables are designed to survive an audit, not to sit in a drawer.

I use structured frameworks to deliver in days what traditional consultants take weeks to produce. You don’t pay for the tool. You pay for the outcome: your lab passes the audit.
